Falling With No Where To Land

I hate it when I’m second best,

Judged by you and all the rest.

I hate the way you say my name,

It’s all my fault but you’re to blame.

And in the end I’ll cry and weep,

True love had swept me off my feet.

I flew too high too sure I’d fall.

You were my prophet who foretold it all.

There is no kingdom by the sea.

The angels don’t sing for you and me

And seraphs on their chariots fly,

To watch me falling from the sky.

Tears are shed and hearts are broken.

This love for me holds no affectionate token.

When love is lost and hearts don’t mend--

When all the world comes to an end--

You wont have me to lean on.

You wont be fine from now on.

You wont have me to trust in.

You’ve left us all disgusted.

So leave the shores on which we walked.

Forget the endearment as we talked.

Suffer as I have and then you’ll notice,

You are nothing if there’s no us.
this is something of a rather sad nature
so if you get upset please accept my apologies
